Bug reports shouldn't be a guessing game.

“can you screenshot that?”

the reply every developer has typed

Bugfyx was built out of frustration with vague bug reports and endless email threads. So we decided to fix it.

Agencies were drowning in vague client emails.

Every agency knows the email. “The button looks weird again on my laptop.” Which button? Which page? Which laptop? Three replies later, nobody has written a line of code.

Bugfyx exists to end that thread. Your client points at the problem on the live site, draws on it and presses send. You get an annotated screenshot, the exact element, the browser and the console errors in one report.

What we believe

Three things we won't compromise on.

  1. Clients shouldn't need accounts.

Your client already has a job. The widget asks for a name and an email, nothing more. No sign-up, no browser extension, no password to forget.

  2. Developers deserve context.

A report should arrive with the annotated screenshot, the CSS selector, browser, OS and viewport, console errors and page timings. Not a blurry photo of a laptop screen.

  3. Pricing shouldn't punish you for having clients.

Clients report with just a name and email, no account and no seat. You pay for your workspace, not for every person who leaves feedback.

How we work.

A small product with a narrow job, shaped by the agencies and developers who use it.

  • Small on purpose

Bugfyx does one job: turning client feedback into bug reports you can fix. We would rather do that properly than bolt on everything.

  • Honest about what exists

Slack, Trello, email and an MCP server for AI coding agents work today. Jira, GitHub and Linear are on the roadmap, and we say so.

  • Private by default

Form inputs are masked in session replays, reporters can black out areas with Redact, and the widget only runs on domains you allow.

  • You talk to the builders

Questions, ideas and bug reports about Bugfyx itself go to hello@bugfyx.com, and the people who build the product read them.
